Benedicts of Whalley is a cafe bar in the centre of Whalley, adjacent and part of one of the country’s largest independent womenswear shops and a byword in fashion. Maureen Cooksons

Opened in 2010 it has extended twice to cope with the increasing distance and numbers of customers visiting Benedicts.

Recently awarded No9 in The Times top 25 places in the UK for brunch, this eatery is open seven days a week serving home made or locally produced artisan foods with barista quality coffees.

An ever changing menu throughout the day means whatever your foodie needs, we are ready to meet them.

In the true style of a cafe, tables cannot be booked… however, phone numbers are taken and time spent in Maureen Cooksons next door is never wasted!

The most recent addition to the store is B’s delicatessen which is truly a village shop. Homemade meals, breads, cakes and slices jostle for space with fresh vegetables, milk and eggs.

Takeaway foods, soups and coffees.

Takeaway afternoon teas are the latest craze to hit Benedicts! Perfect moment amongst friends and family. These must be booked in advance.

See our website for a short film about Benedicts and download our current menu.

Open 9am til 7.30pm Monday to Saturday
10am til 4pm for a lazy newspaper filled Sunday Eggs Benedict and beyond.
